Discontinued The Timber Elite by Vapwood

An interesting usage note I accidentally stumbled onto this afternoon. Because of the fire button location and the slimmer handhold, I can also turn the TE around and use my thumb to depress the fire button. Who knew?

If I understand correctly (some of our professional vapists on here please correct me), under boost mode, when you press the fire button, the chip gives an initial (1 or 2 seconds I think) of wattage around 20% over the programmed wattage. So at 30 watts, when I fire the vape switch it gives me...

@Monk Debate, congrats and welcome to the club. That’s a great looking vape. I’ll look forward to your impressions! @minh533 I’ll see if I can help you out, or make it worse. After a weekend with the TE, I absolutely love it. To me, the height is a trade off for the handgrip that doesn’t...

Pretty much. I use the same grinder for all of my vapes and don’t do any drying or moisture control at all. Since you are doing moisture control, you may end up having better results than I.

I don’t grind all that fine (use a regular hand “herb” grinder, and do no humidity control ) - but couldn’t be happier with the very big clouds I get. I believe a number of others on here may do moisture control and different grinds... I know @Bravesst is more meticulous about how he grinds...

You could also look at these exotic woods as “limited/special” edition vapes.... bocote and leapordwood are awesome. Wenge looks interesting....

I for one am excited to see how it compares to my Classic and LB Elite. I don’t expect to be walking down the street with it (for stealth I have an oil pen or a Grasshopper - though my classic gets a lot of “stealth” use (or no one cares?). With wood and an 18650 battery, I just don’t see how...

I like how you casually snuck in that little “Timber Classic to follow”. Pretty soon it will need to be “The Vapwood Collection”.

i think that the TE is perfectly portable, though perhaps not stealth. It isn’t really “pocketable”. Big difference. I could see the TE in my travel pack quite easily (I’d probably pocket it some anyway, at least when walking around).

Just beautiful. More vaping art (in more ways than one)! If I can ask, what are the dimensions of Prototype 2?

@P.A.M. - interested to understand why you think this.... it would seem to me the Timber “Elite” is at some level a reconfigured Lil Bud Elite. The LB Classic and Elite share the same design heritage, SBS design, but I find they are very different from a usage and experience perspective. There...

Maybe a shorter 1” or 1 1/2” stem, using @flammy ’s glass beads with two screens roasting tube concept (from the Elite thread) to keep the height down more and still cool it down (added benefit restrict draw some too)?

This is exciting! Could you get a picture of the Timber being held in your hand? And will there be a “Classic” version (self-regulated).?

I found that I needed to slow my draw intake with the stock tubes. You can also “feather” the button on and off... hold down for a few seconds, let off for a second or two, then push the button again for a few seconds. Helps control how much heat is in the oven chamber and let’s your draw be...

I’ve been loving the 8mm draw walnut tubes I had @Alan make for me. Tasty, cool, more restriction) and the stainless steel foil baffle helps with restricting the draw even further and cooling.. and no glass to break! I liked the glass liners, unfortunately they had a very short lifespan for me -...

I find I really like Watt booster mode. Keep it at 27 Watts, and use boost to give that extra bit of roast when I want it..not too mention helps on less dry flower. I just love big clouds.....
