Your experience may differ from mine. IMHO there are many factors including coarseness of grind, moisture level, tightness of pack, Ti or SS tip, draw technique, air flow etc. Experiment. Have found the air flow of the 2021 captive caps to exceed that of the pre 2019 regular caps. Definitely...

Can only speak to the two well tuned @Pipes desktop and portable IHs that I own. Find that consistent brown AVB for me is more dependant on a uniform grind, firmness of pack and whether it's a captive or standard cap that I choose. Rarely disappointed with the extraction if I pay attention to...

Agree. Bought the wife a Tectonic at 420. Way too much air flow that can't be controlled. On the other hand I have the original Shell Shock and like the beefy feel and heft and use it regularly. IMHO, a screw in condenser is just a more solid construction than having it held in place by two...

After having used the Vapman that doesn't have any 'the load is ready indicator click', it's become much more fluid to successfully operate the DV with out needing a cool down click before reapplying heat. So the initial click is all that's needed. The Vapman is a special vape and learning tool.

I own two IH's and close to a dozen torches with multiples of numbers of flames. Carry a torch or two when I'm on the go and the IHs around my house and property. Both are simply heating devices that can provide tasty clouds or if not properly used combust your flower. For me the cap 'click'...

Induction Heater MAD Heaters - Innovative Dynavap Accessories

Hats off to the folks at MH who are proceeding very methodically with the development and testing of their new IH before it's released into the hands of customers. It's nearly impossible for any group to foresee all the bumps in the road ahead, but I'm certain they're loosing sleep trying too...

Induction Heater MAD Heaters - Innovative Dynavap Accessories

Does this make it possible for someone to create a TED that would work equally well in a temp controlled IH that wouldn't infringe on any existing patents? I think I just felt a disturbance in the Force.

Good chance your right. What made me think it was real was the rough machining marks left on the bare aluminum section below the heating well surrounding the cap lift area and the 21 Vong/Omni tip. I guess that's why they're there.

Just gets better and better! Is that beauty of a DV stem in your photos a MH creation, or is that another developer's that I simply haven't seen before?

Rechecked back in the thread and found no color/style winner candidates announced from the survey for the final production run. Is it still at this time too premature to reveal the final choices?

Alternatively I've just used a standard one half inch ss screen with a small hole in the center for both flower and hash. With the screen in, the bowl stays cleaner and IMO combustion events are less likely.

Any chance of a a retail distributor in Canada? Even ordering from the US is a major problem with courier's non deliveries for those who don't live in a major city. Great White North (Sneaky Pete), The Herb Cafe, POTV would be good choices for those of us in rural areas. All these folks watch...

Agree with the above posters that glass is the preferred method of storage. Wood really doesn't like Iso or other harsh solutions. Having said that, I did a quick swipe of my 21 Vong with a Iso swab and a damp cloth of water to wipe it off. Let slow dry then a couple coats Dyna wax. For a...

@alex91 Consider putting the Vong on your list of options. Here's the weight of tips in grams for the Vong and Omni's for comparison: 2020 Ti - 3.192 2021 Vong - 3.755 2021 Omni - 4.149 Been switching the Vong tip between multiple stems: Vortex, M with Stinger, Shell Shock, and glass...

The 21 Omni Ti tip has been available in my neck of the woods from the initial release. The price has been exorbitant though. Haven't seen the 21 Vong tip yet which I prefer. Currently using the Vong tip on my XL Vortex and it delivers. Perfect combo for me.

Never used my XL wooden spinning mouth piece in a water piece, but would think a universal silicone adapter like Sneaky Pete sells would work. Here's a LINK.

For any one that lives north of the 49th and has any money left after the new DV release and 420 there is a great deal on Simrell Vortex stems available. Jane's Mary out of Calgary has the short stem for $150. and the standard for $155. CA. That equates to $124. US dollars. Here's the LINK. Just...

Had the Vong for about a week now. Yes, the legoness is still present and all my legacy parts play nice together. Have a Simrell stinger on the way to mate it with the wooden body. The wooden spinning mouth piece xl wasn't very appealing. IMO the Ti tip is the big surprise as it's a lot more...
