This has been achieved by Alan with his HI unit. He provides a simple tool that makes replacing the heating element as easy as screwing out a light bulb and a screwing the new one in! Suuuuhweeet!

It works, but only with about 90% air restriction. I just tried it at full blast and 10 minute heat up time. It required air restriction to get any visible vapor. I guess I will put in a support ticket.
