Get the Caldron. Torches are great and you should definitely learn how to use one with your M but an IH just makes it so easy. I love my Flux Deluxe. My wife and I are both sitting on the sofa using it right now. Caldron is on my VAS list. I bought M's because they reminded me of my old brass...

Yeah, I'm a bit torn. I usually wait for a new model to work it's bugs out before I get interested. The current Mighty is a proven winner so I know what I'm getting.

I don't 'soak' my caps in iso but I use it to clean them. A little baggie of iso and a small scrub brush, less than a minute total and then rinse under running water. The caps generally don't get too dirty anyway. The condensers and tips need the most attention.

Did the boost feature come at the same time as the battery increase?

I've been reading back through this thread, I like researching before I buy, and there's been talk about an updated Mighty for the past few years. Maybe I should just go ahead and buy one. That'll surely spark a brand new version being released.

Where are you storing your mason jars that they get lots of sunlight? Mine are in my basement, boxes, cupboards or drawers so that's not an issue for me. I love my Jyarz for when I'm away from home.

I've got M's. I love them but the carb is a hassle. I'd suggest Omni so you don't have to mess with it. Set it and forget it. SS tips heat a bit slower than Ti and they hold the heat longer. I've got both but I prefer the Ti. Spinning mouthpiece makes it a bit easier to spin the stem while...

Yep. A new pack of lids is $2. Also, if you get any oils on your fingers from handling the buds you'll transfer that to the outside of the jars and lids and that'll smell.
