It likely has died. They also won't fix the older models from what I've been told. The original units had a few flaws, hopefully this this isn't the same for the Evo.

I've been rocking my evo around 3 o'clock with the mini elbs. Really nice, 100 mg more-or-less gets me good and ripped. Nice vapor production with minimum hassle.

Some of the earlier units had a pretty strong smell to them at first. I think it was something like oil from the machining process. I can't really describe the smell, but it wasn't pleasant, some kind of a chemical being burned off.
