This is an awesome idea. I'd love to hear how it works out for you. I have a variable DC power supply which I use for my Underdog but this only lets me set a voltage range from 0 to 60v and the amperage from 0 to 5A. I am wondering where you might find a power supply that goes to 20A and yet...

Yes, I also thought that perhaps the conductive properties of the metal might pull the heat out of the vapour?

I was just using my Milaana in a new claisen adapter and I had also ordered some PTFE 19mm joint plugs to use that also have a thermometer hole in them that I was trying out. I ended up plugging the thermometer hole and I am waiting for my regular glass stopper order to arrive for general use...

Good call! I would be unhappy to receive a Sticky Brick with that wood surface in my order. But some people may actually want that kind of surface texture ......so if you put it on the site wit a pic/description then I'm sure that it will find the right home where it will be loved :)
