I wasn't super happy with the way my concentrate oven performed. Plus I really wanted to use through water. So I did this.

When my IQ is hot, the flavor chamber sticks out a bit and prevents the battery door from opening all the way. Not knowing this, I forced the battery out last night and tore up its protective jacket. Does anyone else have this issue with the battery door? Advice on how to re-wrap battery?

on taste: I can taste the strain better with the CFV than I can the Mighty. I actually test this specifically using strains with identifiable taste characteristics (like lemon haze, sour diesel) However, I still prefer the flavor from conduction. That popcorn taste? I like it.

I need to sand mine down too. I couldn't get it open the other night and it really REALLLLLY frustrated me. But then the next morning it came off after a little bit more struggle. I think humidity must affect it or something.

better? that's a personal preference. For me the cfv is better than the cfx when used as a daytime vape. If you prefer clean and pure convection all the time, you'll prefer the CFV. If I could only keep one, it would be the CF.

Yes. The CFX has conduction on top of its convection. Conduction is significantly more efficient at heat transfer.

the screen mesh of the ELB and its cap is too fine to collect the honey. Honey collects on the inside screen, and yes they're totally compatible.
