I don't use my XL that way, but It isn't too big and don't think it would be that much different than smaller logs like my Underdog. But think the difference is really bowl capacity and heater power. Non-XL/Alpha logs really are in much more of a microdosing domain.

I don't think I've ever seen a ball mod on the Herbo Ti. But based on what little I know about the Herbo design, airflow is a major factor in the design. So I'd worry that any ball mod would negatively affect that. But hey, try it and report back

I can certainly say that you cannot iso soak a wood bowl. And it won't be as durable, but should be pretty durable. But drop wood the wrong way and you still risk a chip.

Just want to pipe in too mention (and encouraging VAS) that having S, M, L log sizes is so nice. Certainly I'm a collector by nature. Came late to the log game. But what great territory.

For glass offered by third parties, I'm particularly a fan of the XL passthru (or non passthru is nice too) injector bowl for Halo. Run it at about 9.2V on my REFC DIY ATM power supply (suuuper easy to put together).

Big fan of the Vgoodiez passthru injector bowls. Two birds with one stone and have both regular (B0 great here) and XL sizes (Halo can do nice big loose pack bowl, and good Herborizer bowl too but less headspace for big, loose bowls). Of wooden options, iDB bowl is my fave by a good margin.

At least they are the least expensive option currently during the sale

Imagine need to boost voltage a bit for it since flower is farther from heater? I also have Nano XL cooling stem that seems to go around the outside nicely. If I prefer that, I may go nuts and drop some boro balls in the gap and shape a screen into an inverted bucket to hold them in. More fun...
