100 F delta ain't bad. My Liger 2.0...which is only 20mm so has much less surface area to radiate heat, I have running at about a 40F delta. But that coil is on there so tight I'm not sure I will ever get it off!! D-nail Halo....dang, that was a a fight just to get the delta down to 150F...

Yeah, that would def be a move in the wrong direction. The whole reason to do the mod in the first place is to get rid of loose parts that fall into the oven when you open the vape. Just putting a lose screen on top of the oven would be counter productive to that goal.
