Try to mix lavender with MJ and put it in your vape ;) It tastes amazing IMHO and it contains myrcene. Definitely gets me more chinese-ed :D

I tested your trick and it worked out amazing. The taste lasted much longer, even on setting 3. It's probably due to a small reduction in the temp, but the seal on top of the can is definitely improved also. The taste was seriously improved in my case, as the vapor felt more consentrated ;)
