I noticed that my vapcaps do a similar thing with my IH. I think it was @TommyDee who has a theory that it is a small amount of vapor escaping and that over time it leaves an oily residue on the glass liner that protects the IH coil.

I really enjoy using my BB9, when it's clean I use it straight as the flavor is amazing, mostly I use it through water. I think it does run slightly cooler than an M, but it's not THAT much cooler once you are chasing those big cloudy hits.
