PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

So I have soaked my piece in vinegar for 2 days, used some CLR, done several PBW washes at different strengths, and I still cannot get some spots off of the inside or outside of my glass that appeared after that first PBW wash. I don't know what I am doing wrong I have re read this whole forum a...

PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

How long do I need to soak my pieces in vinegar to get the white stains off after a PBW wash? I tried about an hour and that did nothing, maybe overnight?

PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

I don't think it is hard water because it was not there before the PBW wash. What dilution do you use it at for cleaning glass? I tbsp to 4 cups of water is about what I used, maybe that was too concentrated? Because it looks like PBW residue but nothing will get it off. I will try a more...

PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

But the stains were not there before I used the PBW? The streaks on the outside are where the PBW water mixture hit the outside of the glass. Does the PBW cause hard water stains? It really looks like residue. I only use distilled water...

PBW & the Chemistry of Clean

So I just tried PBW for the 1st time today on a little DG. The glass came out incredibly clean but there is now little white streaks of residue on the outside and a ring of residue on the inside of the piece where the joint curves. I have tried hot water rinsing and ISO rinsing and neither is...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

That is what I like to call a good problem:tup: Thanks for the input guys. I think it will be worth the investment because i am so tired of having to go back through everything i grind with my fingers to break up the big pieces that escaped. Is there anywhere to get a good deal on these or...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

What grinder do you guys like best for the EVO? I have had an old CNC'd grinder with the holes in the bottom for years. It leaves some pretty big chunks though and I would like something that grinds more fine and uniform so what do you guys recommend for the EVO specifically? Thanks.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

I never thought of that, I am too afraid to let my evo sit on the joint unsupported so i am not sure if it would benefit me too much. I do see now the huge benefit this could have with newbies using the evo, though that is not really an issue with me. Thanks for explaining it, I was confused...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

It is great with any Mobius piece, or any quality piece for that matter. I have never used a cloud buddy, I just turn it upside down on the joint. Is the point of the cloud buddy to provide more distance between your face and the unit? Because I don't really see the point otherwise.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Glad to hear it. I have never used a hydratube before so I am exited to use my cloud right side up.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Loving the EVO. Owned a used cloud for about a week then my wife surprised me for our anniversary with the EVO. It is even better than the cloud. Sold that to a friend and now I am in delicious vapor heaven with a showercap hydratube on the way. Today is a good day. Tomorrow will be even better...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

I don't know anything about cords so I was worried that I had to have a specific one, but any universal will do? Thanks.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Where can I order a longer and more flexible cord for the EVO that I know is compatible? The link I found earlier in this thread is dead. Thanks guys, I do not know anything about power cords but I need a longer one that will not hurt and will work with the EVO.

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

WOW! Just got an old cloud from the classifieds a few days ago and man is this thing awesome! I have been a daily Volcano user for 8 years and while it will not be going in the garbage anytime soon, the clod is a fantastic addition to the arsenal. Very delicious vapor through a little DG, and my...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

They say that they are authorized retailers who provide brand new, warrantied units. It does say the warranty issues are directly though vapexhale in vaporwarehouse's long ad. Seems legit.

    David Goldstein's Fritted Disc

I figured it was just the concentrate re-solidifying in the tiny holes in the frit due to the cold water temp bringing the vapor back to a solid state, but I like your explanation better. Lets get the scientists working on a study, The line forms to the rear for test subjects...

    David Goldstein's Fritted Disc

I don't know the science behind it just personal (and Dave's) experience. If I use room temp or slightly warmer water when dabbing there is no clogging. If I use cold water there is definite clogging. As far as using it solely as a vapor delivery device the water temp does not seem to make a big...
