I got my hands on a hydrotube out here in Shenzhen and when I did the only water tool I could find was a U-tool since our warehouse had been locked up for the day. I used it for a few days with a hydrotube before getting a straight tool. Why do you think the U-tool wont work for you?

To this day I have still never had particles in my mouth from using the Ascent. My advice is, if the material of your load is larger than the holes in the glass, then you wont get any material through the holes.
