Speaking of different baskets, has anyone tried using the top to an ELB for the Cloud EVO? I noticed a while back that it fits in the flexicone, but never got around to trying it out. I think they've been a little slammed this past week. You might also try info@minivape.com info@minivap.com.

Random question: I finally put the neoprene(?) sleeve on my Cloud EVO. Does anyone know that the little velcro tab at the bottom is for? My first thought was to wrap the cord, but it's not really long enough for that.

Actually... that does seem logical. I mean, subjectively it feels like a get more effect when I take those bigger hits of vapor. But it may just be the rush from getting a large amount all at once. It does make sense that if you're extracting every last bit of vapor using the "step up" technique...

I've noticed the same thing but suspect it's actually the opposite of what you're suggesting. That is, green releases so much more vapor period that more resin gets on everything from the glass to your lungs. There's little doubt in my mind that bigger hits=stronger effects. Just my two cents.

I had one of the old teflon-core MiniVAPs that failed, and I received a new glass-core model as a replacement. After spending some time with the new unit, my impressions are mixed. There are some positives but at least one big negative. On the positive side, the unit now heats up more quickly...

Confirmed -- the new units at Vapor Nation have the glass core. Charging up now -- I'll let you know if I notice any difference relative to teflon.

@kimura: They didn't specify, but Alfredo did mention a handful of users had been testing this new technology, so it could well be the glass core. I'm picking up my replacement from VN this afternoon, so I'll let you know what I get. @Smknbud: D'OH! Pretty sure they got the new shipment on...

Good news, everyone! I just got an email from Vapor Nation. They received the shipment of new MiniVaps from Hermes! I also emailed Hermes, and according to Alfredo, the MiniVaps in this shipment have a "new heating technology" that's supposed to avoid the problem.

It depends on your preferences, but for me personally, the cordless aspect was a major selling point. I mean, I love my Cloud Evo, but it's cumbersome to use with guests because the cord always gets in the way. I also found myself more inclined to vape outside on a beautiful day with the MiniVap.
