I always use a screen on top to tamp down the herb. Particularly on half loads, I find this greatly increases the density and flavor of the vapor. It also keeps things cleaner. I cut the screen halfway across to make it easier to take out when I'm done.

Welp, my minivap appears to be on its last legs, so I've taken the Mighty plunge. Bought directly from S&B to ensure I get the most recent model. I already own a Crafty, so I've got an idea what to expect. But I am curious, are there any differences I should be aware of in terms of usage?

Out of curiosity, is there some reason you guys aren't using a half-cut screen to tamp down the material? Just a heads up, if you cut the screen halfway across, it works just as well and you don't need to use a sewing needle.
