Personally, I always disassemble my CU when cleaning. So much resin accumulates in the areas around the o-rings and the screen that I find it doesn't get very clean unless I disassemble fully.

Brought my Crafty to the Phish show last night, and it performed like a champ! Recharged once mid-show with a portable power pack. The micro-USB connection is so convenient!

I don't think you'll be disappointed... provided battery life isn't a consideration like @WakeAndVape said. That more than the app should be the deciding factor.

I was concerned about the app, too, but have actually found it to be one of my favorite features of the Crafty. I love how it provides information about the firmware and how many hours the unit has been used. I also dig how I can tweak various settings like the intensity of the LED lights and...

I have both as well and very much agree with this appraisal. I'm a flavor chaser, and the EVO is at the very top of the list, along with the original MiniVAP. However, the Crafty (and Mighty) is just a tiny step below in taste. And whatever they lack in that regard, they more than make up for it...

It is a fascinating question, but I personally am inclined to leave the unit powered on between hits. In that scenario, whatever marginal power savings I get are almost certainly exceeded by the marginal inconvenience of having to remember to turn it on and off. Plus, there has to be some wear...

To clarify, the Crafty manual specifically warns not to immerse the plastic in alcohol for longer than an hour or you risk discoloring the plastic and making it brittle. Personally, I find that soaking for 15-20 minutes, followed by some strategic scrubbing with a q-tip, works well.

You can indeed! However, when I tried it, I found I preferred the taste and vapor density just packing the chamber directly. PS: Anyone try the Arizer baskets that are midway between the large and small MiniVAP baskets in size?
