Yep, you guys both got it. I was actually pretty excited to make it, I like the look of those red units. And it's the first one I've done as a top mount.

Welp, nailed it! Knocked out 5 units today. All the standard units on my list are now done. A battery vk and a custom unit going to the same customer are next in line, as well as an even-higher-powered-VK for another customer (6a continuous load instead of 3a like the last one, versus around...

Next batch of boards is here, and I should have more than enough for everyone on the list, we'll see how many I can actually get done this weekend! I'm still waiting on batteries and chargers, so no battery units will be getting done this weekend unfortunately, but all the rest I'm hoping will...

I did get all 5 shipped out today. I'm hoping I can keep up with this streak of progress and get through most of my waiting list, but I'm still waiting on some more parts at this point. Hmm, maybe you'd be better off with something rebuildable? Is your vaporizer melting the end of the cable? I've seen it before...I think Alan has some work-arounds for that, some adapter he found that are more resistant to heat that you can use before attaching the cables... BTW, I noticed...

Sounds like the mechanism might just be damaged on yours. May be as simple as bending it back, or replacing the jack worst case, but if you bought it new and it came like that, they probably would fix it for you I imagine.

Yeah, I basically wanted auber to sell me just the controller part of the RDK-200 so I could stick it into a VK-style case and essentially make my own version of this. They wanted me to order some insane amount of units to do it though. I still kind of want to do it some day though, it's right...

It locks in like it should and has a little push-button release. I was actually not aware the other one didn't do that? I never actually owned a rdk-200 though.
