I've wanted one for my herbalAire for a while now, think it'd work wonderfully with it. So yeah, more than just EVO owners might want one.
That being said, 18mm nectar collector + 18mm male bent neck mouthpiece with keck clip = cheap-ish Hydratube.
That's one thing I pretty much never experience on my herbalAire, but I do know what it's like to have that on other vapes. Using the HA is always very medical feeling.
Re: herbalAire and slow sessions, the way I use HA is to draw out session length and space loads away from heater, but if used...
Try a slightly lower heat and try to stop pressing before the sizzle. It seems to me the sizzle is product being destroyed. Also more pressure is good if you can.
one important thing to note with HA is that it has a large base. on a lot of regular bubblers, this means the HA base will be right in your face and you'd need to turn your head to hit it. so for the HA i'd recommend something where this isn't a problem, like the sidecar FC-187 or GB-187-S, or...
With a cast iron tortilla press you could just heat it up in the oven until saturated. I did similar with a cast iron griddle and grill press and it worked, with a tortilla press it should work even better.
Oh and the IR therm would need emissivity adjustment settings. For the pan I was using...
I find the timer somewhat annoying but I am, too, glad to have it. 60 minutes long would be ideal for me, time dilation and herbalAire sessions seem to go hand in hand  But like others have said, quite easy to just switch it off and back on, no lag time besides turning the dial.
Re...
The fact that this is even possible in terms of a properly working vape after all that usage with no clean is remarkable! Serves to show the HA durability and workhorse nature.
Lately all I've been doing is direct draw with a glass mouthpiece on top.
The MP on the right of this picture is what I use. It's nice and small/lightweight so it sits on the stock MP by itself, very casual and great taste. Here is the dhgate link for the ash catch and accessories it comes in...
It seems better to err on the low side of temperature... I wonder what the lowest effective temperature would be for this method. All I've seen is 350 but maybe 300 would work too.
Love how it vapes better when compacted, not sure how it works I suppose the convection/conduction combo and diffused airflow. The compactness of the load might mean better conduction throughout it? Like the weed conducting upon itself perhaps? All conjecture.
Concentrates used without ruining...
I much prefer the TonG over PVGonG, mainly because my PVGonGs (2) can sometimes require force to put in and can also get stuck, basically they don't fit well IME. As well when I did use PVGonG, the end of it would touch the bottom of the HA bowl and then the end of the glass got all charred...
Tried it on a good amount of weed that I no longer felt like vaporizing, various strains. It definitely worked! Best results were setting oven to 360, putting cast iron griddle and grill press in oven for 10 minutes or so. Then took it out and performed procedure, pressing down really hard and...
You probably need an 14mm to 18mm adapter, like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pinnacle-Pro-18MM-MALE-14MM-FEMALE-CLEAR-GLASS-ADAPTER-DECREASER-/111235655262?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19e629665e
Could probably get it cheaper on dhgate
fair enough! for me, i think of the lesser vapor density as a tradeoff for the no stir and excellent even extraction... as herbalaire diffuses air into many small micro jets versus open large airflow of something like daisy.
I would definitely call it that, especially the non-Elite version (no digital temp control, but very poor man's!). And also using ceramic discs, conduction/convection ratios can be played around with (HA uses both). When I use my HA with the herb sitting 3 discs high, I jokingly call it...
Hello MisterChew,
As an herbalAire and Nano owner, I feel well qualified to answer this question. The short answer is, I use my herbalAire much more and would recommend it over the Nano
1. Efficiency (I have an Arizer Solo, I'd like my desktop to be more efficient without sacrificing taste and...
