    Dynavap VapCap

Got my Vapcap OG yesterday from Vapefiend. Gonna keep trialling this before I post my views :)

Just ordered a VapCap OG :) Looking forward to testing this!

    Dynavap VapCap

Exactly. Usually I'd be trying to get someone into vaping their herbs, but the £150ish entry price put people off (even though I would try to justify with how much herb you'd save), now they have no excuse! I think a wooden toothpick would work fine, although I've never had an issue using 99%...

Doesn't some tissue and ISO work for you? I have recently discovered the VapCap. I only have the Solo currently (and actually a VapoCane that I get out for special occasions), but loving the look of this as I have always wanted something closer to an actual joint for instances like cooking...

Yep, the foil has sorted it for now. It's so nice when you put up with a small annoyance (like the cap falling off) for a while, and then you fix it and appreciate it... until I forget.

My model is at least 3 years old, so it's probably of the old style by what you've said? Thanks for the heads up on the masking tape. I think I will go for some foil.

    Dirty guide to quit smoking

I agree! I always used to mix tobacco in with my herbs and I only every so often smoked cigarettes. I realised that when I was hankering a spliff, it was really the whole nicotine and herbal fix in one, neither a raw herbal joint nor a cigarette would cure the hankering, it was the combination...

Okay that's interesting, I didn't know about the different caps for the solo. I have gone ringless for a while now. I actually prefer it, just have to warn solo-newcomers about the swing! And I have secured the cap now with a bit of masking tape that I had to hand, similarly to how pfte would...

Yes, no doubt you are right here. When I used the o-rings it was a battle to get it to screw on, seemed like they were too thick? (They're standard ones people use though, my friends have the same on their Solos). Not heard of the dental floss technique, thanks for that. I had forgotten about...

Hello Soloists! Has anyone ever had any issues with the top "screw" bit of the Solo losing it's thread? I used to use the o-rings on my Solo until it no longer would stay together. And now it comes apart a lot without the o ring as well. Is tape my only option?

Both me and someone I know went through 3 or 4 solos each - as there was a period of a lot of faulty Solo- before we got one that didn't break. Very luckily the person I bought it from (via eBay) lived right near me and was able to sort it each time they broke. I've been on the same one for...

Surely there must be a similar thing you can order?

Thanks for the heads up. I had taken this into account (without doing the maths) and if it was truly 16800mAh at 12v then it would be waaaay more than I needed anyway. As for charging speeds, when I took the picture and posted it, the number 3 light had just stopped flickering, as I post now...

Just thought I'd give a little update to my on-the-go charging solution. I decided to go for the car jump starter battery; it has a great capacity of 16800 mAh, can jump start my car (actually quite useful for me), can charge other items and only costs £31.49. Here is the Amazon link...

Well I'm still not sure why I did it myself (or I can't think of the words to explain), sorry for any misunderstanding! I didn't think much of it when doing. Anyway!... I look forward to your solution. I don't mind soldering or anything, but would be great have a more simple solution as I don't...

Well, as I can tell it has a 12v output similar to one found in a car, so I would imagine using the Solo car charging adapter it would work perfectly fine? (I could be wrong though, and maybe the "car jack" cable with it is for something else) I will hold out though, looking forward to what you...

So to carry on my quest for portable charging I've had an idea. Why not use a car battery jump starter kit? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00WRALWT4 13600 mAh, can use it charge my Solo, any other electrical devices (phones etc) and even to jump start my car! @OF (maybe this is of interest)

Whoops, yes I meant to link the cable which you shared. That's really great mate, I think I understand what I need to get going now! Thanks a lot for your assistance :) Just one more question though, what mAh batteries do you use? And how many charges do you get out of a set of 3?
