    Puffco Peak

Interesting - not really a fan of the bucket potentially moving around either but it's too late now. Not the worst thing in the world though, I will just rebuild it again with the original base if I am not satisfied. (edit: nevermind - just went to torch it to see if I could remove the...

    Puffco Peak

I use the Eternal Quartz v3 Marble Cap (https://eternalquartz.com/product/puffco-peak-quartz-inserts-caps/) I generally use sesh mode every time as well but I load fairly big dabs and don't like to wipe up massive puddles. I ordered a rebuild kit this week and plan to re-build that atomizer I...

    Discontinued Imp by MistVape

 Just needs some dimpled cooling stems - I much prefer those to the beads, but I think the Impcognito produces relatively cool/tame vapor compared to other convection portables, even with the shorty stem. Aster RT with the new AF when dialed in is just unbeatable. Crushing bowls in...

    TUBO evic/dual

Very nice... really liking this. Just curious how it affects battery life at all? Quicker heatup and more stable temps I am guessing? How do I get one? edit: oh - just saw the tetraX thread :whoa:

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

I don't get why people are upset that their grinder isn't magic? I am sorry if you really thought the thing was going to stop your hair loss, or get you a new job but it's just a grinder. The only person you are fooling is yourself if you think it is not a top-tier grinder. We all want to see...

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

This is pretty true, in my experience... it certainly benefits from a brief brushing out every once in a while (it will turn smoother after brushing, sure) but it worked fine after putting 2+oz through before I wanted to do it (mostly to vape that sweet buildup :haw:) The price/wait I can see...

    Puffco Peak

Yup - I posted a video a few pages back. I was trying to find some others that I had but no luck. Maybe I will make another soon now that I have my new base :spliff: https://streamable.com/nxyrq

    Puffco Peak

So, my vibration motor died last Sunday. I emailed Puffco right away and got a response within <6hrs on Sunday. Shot some video for proof and filled out a form, and I had an overnight label in my inbox within 12 hours. I waited until Thursday to actually ship it out, since it still worked...

    Dynavap VapCap

I would tend to agree - it's just going to cool the vapor some, due to the (essentially) added vaporpath length, and redirected airflow... but some of the folks that have them seem to be over the moon about it. It adds more stuff to clean, and more metal in the airpath is not great imo. A glass...

    Puffco Peak

I found a 3mm or 4mm ruby bead works well to absorb some heat and redistribute it. I used 2 when I used the stock bowl - just using 1 now with my quartz. It will all depend on how much you load and what you are dabbing. I pretty much never use white unless I am trying to do a massive dab...

    Discontinued Impcognito

shit i am an idiot and clearly meant i can finish bowls at 434~446f above - not 334~336f works a little too good with cruise control

    Discontinued Impcognito

i am pretty happy with avb without stirring. even if i fully stir i get 1 whimpy hit. it's not worth the time or effort imo autofire/cruise mode makes this thing awesome. i did check, and i have a barely visible glow in complete darkness at 440f - even during cruise mode, nothing i am going to...

    Discontinued Impcognito

Thanks to @Obsessed 2 for helping me on a very srs Reddit post I made :D:D:D:D I did not think the new AF firmware would work with the Aster RT (the release notes on the NFE website specifically does NOT list the Aster RT under compatible mods) ...but thanks to this ol chap blazin' trails I...

    Dynavap VapCap

People would likely just complain: "They're just releasing different colors, where is the innovation?!?!??!?!:rolleyes::rolleyes:" Not to mention the people that would get all butthurt about the cause... (irony at it's finest?) Likely the same people that running out to buy some...

    Dynavap VapCap

They addressed this in a Dynavap live some months ago - They are still working on it, but it is challenging to bring an IH to market that is both mass-produceable, and also safe. I'm sure we will hear more before the year is up. It is definitely not dropped though.

Damn those look slick. I think I will pick one up whenever I get around to ordering my second deck. Nice find!

    Carta by Focus V

I don't use this device, but imo, spinning the beads is not necessary in my Peak. Sometimes I will push them around just to distribute the heat/etc if I loaded a big dab. Otherwise I am just happy to have them in there, absorbing some heat so my bucket doesn't get awfully chazzed, and to...

    Discontinued Impcognito

Also, you can indeed lock the resistance without needing to hook up to a PC... I would worry if yours does not work the same. Check the manual: "Lock/Unlock resistance: In TC-Ni/TC-Ti/TC-SS/TCR(M1,M2,M3) mode, when the device is powered on, keep pressing the fire button and up button...

    Discontinued Impcognito

I did have one instance, where my Aster RT randomly changed from .20 resistance to .22 - modifying the ohms and playing with the coils did not fix performance issues I was having as a result... I just dropped my cold ohms back to .20 and locked them again, and now it's all good? :hmm: I do not...

    Discontinued Impcognito

In my experience, higher cold ohms = higher required TCR# I believe one of my buddies settled at TCR200 but his cold ohms were like 0.22 I prefer around TCR180~ but my cold ohms are closer to 0.200 These values can also vary from mod to mod, and Imp to Imp I am sure. I'm not meaning to imply...
