You do realize the temperatures they are referring to are the temps of the heating element, correct? Not the temp of the dabbing surface. Even with my thin-bottom insert, I do not see temps above 500f on the inside surface of the dish on red setting, as measured with a k-type thermocouple.

It's pretty easy to use, yeah. Having some ecig knowledge would be nice as you can really do so much with the DNA75c chip, but I'd say it's fine to go in blind. You will never need to change firmware, or connect to computer (unless you so desired) so it's easier than almost all other 510s off...
