Just get a thin-bottom quartz insert. I use blue and green pretty much exclusively now. Red and white would definitely hit way harder (and hotter) than I would want. SiC was pretty bad for me. My friend who has my Fadespace SiC just tried it again after almost a year, using rebuilt atomizers...

It has nothing to do with that? I just don't want verifiably false information perpetuated... which you seem hellbent on doing? But thanks for the personal attack!

... I was talking about the anodization. Which you clearly STILL don't understand after someone explained it even more in depth than the link I provided. Owning grinders doesn't bestow you with material knowledge (clearly)

Nice. Super passive aggressive for someone who demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of the topic at hand. https://www.adinternationalbv.com/services/metal-surface-treatment/anodizing "This aluminium oxide layer is fully integrated with the underlying aluminium substrate. This means it...

Anodization doesn't "wear down" - or chip, or flake though... It's physically impossible. It's possible and in fact plausible that the metal is uh... simply wearing down upon use. I'd be interested in more testing (perhaps microwaving freshly ground bud, rather than ABV) but I am pretty...

My buddies just died... he bought his off ebay or some shit so no warranty. He opened it up and fixed it himself. Doesn't really seem to be too hard if you're open to that. Of course the fix could be somewhat difficult if you needed to solder, but my buddy got his fixed with no headaches. He...

@Piffdexter get in touch with @maxvapor710 - He can hopefully help you get set back up. My vibration motor died after 8 months of heavy, daily use. I've had my replacement <1month now and no issues. There are videos of how to disassemble the Peak on PuffcoilRepairs Instagram. Don't think it...

    recommend a device for concentrates?

While I do think the Dcup and Liger are both neat, interesting devices... calling them "best" is kinda messed up... No offense to owners/enthusiasts of either, but man... That is a lot of metal in the airpath. A simple banger+rig is the cheapest easiest way to get a high-end concentrate...

    Dynavap VapCap

He is fairly cheap considering the quality of wood he uses, and his process. I received several in-progress pics of my stem, checking to make sure I liked it. I paid just shy of $100 USD, and I believe $15-20 of it was shipping. Perhaps it is taboo to mention price but I feel he is extremely...

    Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

Can confirm the Jr mouthpiece will work with the flipbrick. I don't remember needing anything extra (besides the SBL orings) but it's been 2yrs or so

Just got a very nice vapcap stem courtesy of @Aezhenn Reaaaally love that it's essentially a nipple-stem, encased in a beautiful wood sleeve The liners are also swappable, allowing you to easily clean them, or use a regular glass one in place of the nipple'd one. Super fair pricing and...

If I do it right after I take the dab, I can have the insert back to sparkling new before it even cools down. You use the leftover heat from your dab to help heat-clean the insert. Definitely not for everyone though. I am a bit obsessive over having a clean surface. :D

@Mynameismud interesting - I have heard him say on his lives not to use the gas station cheapo ones, but haven't heard anything about not using phone charger ones but I don't tune in daily. I know someone asked for a Peak car charger the other day, and he kinda laughed and just said "it takes...

I use an Eternal Quartz thin-bottom, personally. I do see other people that have come out with fitted quartz inserts since then, but not sure how good the quality/QC is on those. I dropped an atomizer the other week on my tile floor when cleaning it. The atomizer broke (the disc snapped) but...

Both SiC inserts I tried were a waste of money. Ruby and sapphire inserts require 2 heat cycles to start producing vapor. A fitted, thin bottom quartz insert has been amazing for me. I use blue/green only now and get awesome clouds/flavor. Red and white would get way too hot for my liking.

I'm sure a phone/tablet etc brick is the best substitute. They just don't want you using cheap gas station chargers, from what I understand

It's fine, I would just make sure to not use a super cheap brick to charge it.
