I just lucked out and ended up with a brand new analog D-Nail for $120! I was able to find the control box and heaters separate and my friend is giving me a new nail or two to complete the set up. Torchless dabs, here I come. Ooo Wee! :science:

@coffinoff On top of the new spring @jpdnkstr mentioned, you will most likely need a new top as well. Sounds like it blew. If you're under warranty, all you have to do is send in your broken top and they'll replace it with the newest model top for free.

I just wish we could get an update. Although the Core kicks ass for the Hercules, I really purchased it because it's supposed to be the power source for the upcoming Flexo. I'm looking at a few e-nails that are great, but the all glass vapor path is really what got me interested in the Flexo.

Just out of curiosity, what is it that bugs you about the squashed coil method? Since I've done so, I have had zero problems with my coil creeping up and the SR-71 is performing even better.

Lol I know. Definitely easier said than done. At the very least, I need to stop eating a half gallon a day. That sounds like a more realistic starting point.

Yessir! I only own two SR-71's and I use the titanium coils that were made for the SR-74. The coils are compatible with both the 71 and 74.

Yup, it's normal. The SR-71 is a tiny bit more powerful than the SR-74.

I just want to put it out there that if people do in fact decide to stay with a v1 top and SR-71 combo, there is a HUGE possibility that they will eventually blow their v1 top if there's even the slightest mistake in the assembly of the 71. The Herc wasn't even a thought when the first tops...

I've never had an issue with the ticket system. After placing a ticket, I converse with w9 via my email account and they have always responded promptly. Be sure to check your spam folder as well, as the replies sometimes end up there by mistake. As others have mentioned however, G and company...

I clean all of my KISS carts via either dry burns or combo of an iso soak followed by dry burns. Have yet to burn out a cart and my ceramic gets as clean as new.

The issue is that the o-ring on your Hercules cap isn't creating a seal with the Nibbler XL. The solution is to use the thicker o-ring on the cap and then use vaseline around the ring to help make a seal. I've run into this problem many a time as have others so, you're not alone.

G, my friend has started carrying the Persei at his shop. He told me that it didn't come with a 18650 battery. Are the newer Perseis still variable voltage via battery configuration , or do you need the Core or Iris?

KISS carts are really designed for one dab at a time. I'm not sure if you're using the grade 2 TI KISS carts but if not, try them out. They have far superior taste than the original KISS carts (still nothing like the flavor you get with the Herc) and are easily the best tasting out of all of...
