That little wiggle allows you to get the slide loose. If you've ever had a slide frozen in a joint and got stressed the hell out trying to get it out without shattering the piece, you might appreciate this ;)

I can count the number of times I've seen this on one hand in about a year's time (ordered mine just prior to the first massdrop). Power cycle and all seems fine. I've had zero overheating issues with this unit. I'd say just keep an eye on it and if it becomes annoying (or worse!), call it in! :)

It's totes fine to leave it on, but with the fan on, you're blowing lots of vapor out the end... Even with the fan off, some vapor will escape, but really not much. (If your concern is more for smell - it's gonna smell no matter what you do). If you just want a go-to vape that's just "ready"...
