@lazylathe did a great post showing how it's put together that has a good picture of the heater:

All those glass twist ones just look amazing, like the glass was in the tree already. I almost posted a wtf gif, but I didn't want to ruin the flow of beautiful images you have going in the thread.
I've been looking forward to trying that one, I'm waiting for a sale. I would need to buy a titanium dish off them too which adds another $40. Then I start thinking I'd almost rather just spend an extra $100+ and buy a sapphire halo instead...
I have the v1 insert, unfortunately it doesn't work with the newvape base. At least it didn't when I had one, it needs the d-nail centerpost retained/nut:
You spread it on the insert and then drop it on the post. Wait a bit for it to bubble and then hit it. Some people don't cap it, I do once...
If you want to do dabs I would definitely choose sic over titatnium, that's just my taste preference though. The d-nail and tag/newvape ones both work really well, but I prefer the size/shape of the d-nail one.
It's a little big for your pocket, definitely won't work with jeans.
I press the button with my ring finger, it fits pretty comfortably in my hand.
Huh... I'm just realizing I've never used it with my glass, I even bought the glass adapter...
I've had my HA2.2 for 6+ years and my HA3 for about a year both with no problems, sorry I can't help.
I feel like I've heard customer service stories from Europe be worse than US/Canada ones. Though I'm not sure if they have multiple offices or customer service departments...
For me it's the Tubo. It uses temp control to give you vapor at the temp you want with no technique necessary. It's simple to use too, just load it and hold the button to hit it.
I made a thinner, blank version of the death star stand. So no features and everything half as thick. It knocked off about $10 which personally I don't think is worth it unless you don't want it to look like the death star for some reason...
I took that same blank/thin version and removed some...
I'll do a good news bad news deal with the stand, good news first:
The model is up for download on thingiverse, it is free and does not require an account. That listing also has the 24mm cone I use to make joints in models. I would of done it in my original post but you have to wait 24 hours...
She rides!
The bottom is a little rough for wood so I have it on cardboard for right now. I'm going to buy some rubber sticky feet to put on the bottom.
Tipping point (takes a good amount of force to get it to that point too):
What I have right now has such a good tangie taste...
The basket screens I tried wouldn't fit snug in there. I only tried the ones I use with my tubo stems though, I'll see if I have any others lying around that are bigger.
On my 1st gen heater I tried at almost 1k with the funnel bowl and some concentrate on top of a glass fritted disc.
It kind of worked. I definitely got some of the taste, but vaping it took many consecutive hits. I wondered if the 2nd gen heater basically being 100 degrees hotter might work...
Has anyone tried the sapphire insert at all? I'm wondering if q-tip cleaning is fine on that also.
I'm hoping d-nail does a 420 sale, I forgot I'd need to buy their $50 titanium dish with it. I also hadn't realized they didn't sell the sapphire halos at all anymore, I always thought I'd get one...
I've only had a chance to run 2 bowls through it, but so far so good.
My first bowl I put in some hand torn material and used it pretty much the same as my noochie. I waved or held the flame over the top of the opening rather than pointing it directly in. I did low temp hits to try and get a...
