I know if I don't say it, someone else will - but Shed, you should definitely add the Purple Days to your list.
It's within your budget, is as stealthy as they come, and super efficient.
There's a thread here with a lot of info on the Purple Days.
Kids & weed - it's a little tricky isn't it VC? I've got a 6yo and a 3yo, both boys.
I don't consume in the open.
Havn't quite got to the stage of getting this book for them :)
Just for the record, even though the Vapman works on a similar principle, there is no heat issue after using it due to the design - the heated parts are effectively out of harm's way, surrounded by the wooden UFO disk.
The way I rationalise my vaporising expenses is by telling myself that you can't put a price on a set of healthy lungs. I want to keep surfing and cycling and doing shit as I get older and if your lungs are shot, then game over.
SSV and a Herborizer? $800. A healthy set of lungs? Priceless.
I've settled into about 3-4 tubes a day spread out from around 4pm to 10pm.
Let's say 4 a day @ 0.025g = 0.1g/day.
Over a month, 30 x 0.1 = 3g/month.
Over a year, that's 36 grams - just over a zip, smoking every evening. Unbelievable huh?
It doesn't get any more efficient than that. Sure...
Wow, an SSV AND a Herborizer! With a PD in the lineup I don't think you'll ever need to buy another vape again.
Pity about the Australian dollar right now huh 420?
Hey PD users, how are you getting your copper aromatherapy cup off the unit when you want to vape? Anyone got an effective way?
I'm using a metal paper clip to grip and lift it off cause that's what's on my desk. One like this:
Can you grow your own at all? I know you got kids which can preclude it, but I just grow a couple of females each summer in the corner of the garden which keeps me going nicely. Grow a bunch of chillis and tomatoes as well in the same-looking pots and they cover-up nicely for me.
My kids are...
Hey Spiral, it's a long story...but basically I had one of these units come into my life a couple of years ago but never got a real chance to play with it as it ended up with friend 1000km away. I'll spare you the details of how it came and went...
I was asking about it when I first arrived at...
That's interesting - my netgear router broke down the other day and as I was reassembling the wireles network here I noticed that the power supply for the Netgear was a 12V 1A unit.
So I ran my PD on it for a couple of hours and even before I did a stem noticed that the unit felt hotter than...
That was a bit like me - I sort of kept up with the vape forum at marijuana.com after vaporinfo.com ran out of steam (pun intended) before even realising that fc was where it was happening. There's a really high signal to noise ratio here, no spammy vendors and a bunch of friendly, passionate...
Hey Pitzpon, what type of Space Case grinder are you after?
I've got a small titanium 2 piece and it's great. Only gripe is it's a little small for my hands when I'm grinding. But the resulting consistency is perfect for the PD stems. I love it and the build quality is really nice.
Good move Reverend - I think there are many on this forum who wish that the PD had been their introduction to the world of vaporising. Could have saved us a lot of money as we tried out different models.
Any other PD1 users feel they need to collect the set and get a PD2?
I've got absolutely no reason to even think about buying another vape as my PD1 is going strong, but still, I have this strange uncontrollable urge to visit the PD website and start browsing the woods again...I think I need...
Hey smokey
Welcome to the PD club - I think vaporcloud's video had optimal lighting for showing vapor. He was blowing clouds that might otherwise be invisible a lot of the time.
