Well, ppl liked the Chode stem, but no one wanted to buy it. Who knows why 😂 So today I put it back on the lathe. The new design still works as a mouthpiece, wpa and/or boofing device if that’s your kink. All while looking… you know, less like a chode 🍆

Earlier today, I turned a cocobolo penis stem / wpa. I call it “The Chode” 😂🍆 💨

It looks like in addition to dust, the oils rosewoods release are what can cause skin (lung) irritation. But like you guys mentioned, if the wood is dry and stabilized, maybe that’s a moot point. The whole thing started cuz I turned a cocobolo bowl for myself and a few ppl told me absolutely...

Can we take a min to talk about wood? I see so many ppl buying cocobolo stems for the TM - pretty much everything I’ve read says cocobolo and the rosewood family in general is toxic (cocobolo being one of the worst in the family). Can anyone share some knowledge on this?

When I got my replacement unit - it took ~5days total from original e-mail to having a new unit at my front door in Boston. Was bummed my TM2 needed to be replaced, but my personal experience w/ CS was a very good one. That’s why I’ve been really enjoying the XL stem - no cooling units, just...

These baskets don’t fit our TM2’s correctly right? Stanker 15pcs 0.5 Inch Premium Diameter Stainless Steel Screen with Storage Box https://a.co/d/965DMwv They say 16mm OD, but I think I remember seeing one or two posts about them being just a little to big.

Air that traveled over the vaporizers heated circuit board brings risk of inhaling harmful chemicals and materials, such as lead. Inhaling lead particles is especially harmful because the particles can get into the lungs and be absorbed into the bloodstream, where they can travel to other...

Let me start of my saying - the positioning of the XL stems bent mouth piece took some getting used to. For a good while it just felt clunky to me, but over time I’ve gotten used to it and find myself repeatedly choosing this XL stem over my other stems. The length is perfect for cooling w/o...

I just put the device on 9 in session mode and let it burn off for a little bit. I also gently blew INTO the stem, to help move the air/heat around - obviously blow don’t inhale!

thats a pic of my original unit, the ‘residue’ seen is Walnut wood sap from being quickly super heated when the heater was mechanically shorted. The whole thing led us to understand the TM1 and TM2 disassemble differently. And improper disassembly sequences of the TM2 will lead to it breaking...

If you can give me an idea of the thickness added by the leather, I can enlarge the TM hole to accommodate the size difference! As it is right now, it probably wouldn’t fit. I made the trays to be snug.

I enjoy the Grav Taster (your first link), but for me, one of its major selling points is that it’s cheap to buy/replace - only $10-15 here in the US. If you end up having to pay much more than that ($20+) it would almost make more sense to spend the money on a custom/artisan stem.

Ah, I’m wondering about making a wooden jig to press flat SS screens into basket shapes - not making wooden screens.

I’m not a clever man… but I have some wood in my shop. Do you think I could make a basket screen former entirely out of wood?

Unfortunately, I can’t mill the full 2.6” depth. I’m thinking if I made a new shell, it will be in 3 pieces - top and bottom walnut and the middle strip Purple Heart!

Thank you both! I made the stand from Purple Heart wood. If you’re in the US, I’d be happy to make you a tray. I have more Purple Heart waiting to be turned into something neat 🙌 Shoot me a PM

I’m in Boston and purchased from SneakyPete - used code SPV10 for a total of $315 shipped. Only took a few days to arrive. I also received a replacement unit from TinyMight and that only took 4 days to arrive from overseas. I’d just go with whatever’s your cheapest all in option - anyone you...

It was my unit that malfunctioned and your recap is spot on. Sap from the walnut wood getting super heated - not reclaim If you look back at my comment history, there are a few post updates explaining what happened, the resolution, etc.

I understand the process to be this; - Take the bottom long screw out, - Take the bottom plate off, - There’s a hole that leads up to the top plate, you need a long thin screwdriver to reach into there and unscrew the top plates hold on the ground wire. - If you don’t do this and pull the...
