While that's better than nothing, you're going to want an appropriately fitted carb cap to control the temp and pressure/suction in your banger... also allows you to direct the airflow. It'll make your dabbing experience more efficient and enjoyable. Check out the quartz Pi caps @ 710coils...

I actually like my half-opaque from them quite a bit, but exclusively without inserts or pearls. I have the same problem when I start adding those things into the mix. If I use both an insert and pearl, instead of air moving the pearl, it's the tip of my bubble cap pushing it around :lol:

It was probably fine based on your description but, in my experience, it can take up to a week or more to increase humidity with those packs... even in small increments. I over-dried some homegrown to around 52% this last harvest and it took about 2 weeks to bring it up and stabilize @ 62%.

Well, I haven't owned it long enough to know for certain but if it's anything like my DNail or NV dishes, it sort of accumulates in microscopic amounts over time. So, it always appears to be clean with a dry q-tip until suddenly it doesn't, haha.

Yeah, that's my experience with it. It's great at what it does, but causes the oil to climb the walls of my banger really-fucking-fast. Does huge, quick rips very well but not really the type if you're wanting to savor those low-temp dabs, imo.

I've been playing with a 6mm clear quartz recently, but typically use a 5mm ruby. To be honest, I haven't noticed much difference in flavor between them. I'd give the smaller ruby an edge for the first couple puffs, though. The 6mm (and larger) do seem to help with oil dispersion and quicker...
