Selling my Constant Gems ruby insert for a heavy discount. The bottom has a couple superficial chips in it from what I'm assuming was thermal expansion inside a banger that was slightly too small. However, the bucket itself and the rest of the insert are in good condition. Maybe a good option...

@gimmiemore you pretty much have it nailed. Only thing I'll say is, I initially boarded the opaque hype train but have since gone back to clear bangers. They're easier to clean and better for pairing with an insert, IMO.

@PPN That's most likely moisture in the rosin, sounds like your starting material was fairly humid. You could take the lid off your jar and stick it between the plates or on a hot plate @ about 130 degrees for an hour or so. I do that occasionally with sappier rosin to get a more budder-like...

I've never had any of my product officially tested, but I'm assuming trichome quality and quantity (like @psychonaut mentioned) plays a large role in potency of the final product as well... bigger, unmolested (hue hue) heads = potentially more of the good stuff compared to lipids, wax, plant...

:tup: it's not really worth shredding up the bud more than that IMO, and might even hinder the final product because you're potentially damaging trichomes too.

@LongDraw I always remove as much of the bigger stems as possible, if anything it should help prevent punctures/blowouts, but I figure it also follows the "quality in, quality out" methodology.
