Useful info, thanks.
Are you simply being prudent or does performance drop sharply using a cell at fresh-2 sessions?
(Another way, how many sessions between charges?)
So.... what's the state of the art here, @RogueGuy ? I have *so* many questions. I'd like to try a glass hemp-SAK (swiss army knife) sort of thing but the options are bewildering.
For example the mouthpieces... is there a functional difference between this single wall unit and this double...
+1. I'm using the "shovelhead with conduction" method at 495F after separating my coils and also tightening them axially to reduce the id and better grip the barrel. (B1, 3mm, auber).
I'm also now unable to take it apart, because turning the coil ccw tightens its grip (!).
I'll run it till it...
Is there a purpose for the discontinuous circumferential groove just below the upper edge(and/or the notches)? That's a lot of added machining complexity...
Have a go at cleaning all your contacts before spending any money :)

I too have a TAG double honeycomb and also wish for the next size down. I'd also like it more if the percs were further apart and/or had some larger holes to facilitate drain back ( the...
If you're asking about how many cycles they'll last it should be 100s with proper care. The capacity will diminish as they age and eventually you'll get frustrated with them and buy new.

Similar in MI but the commercial product is honestly hit-or-miss.
I've gone from all dyna all the time to 70% fp B1 and my consumption is probably about 20x what it was; low pricing does not help!
I like it. Imo it's worth playing with the coil; I didn't do it right away and after I was able to achieve similar results at lower temps and also noticed that my indicated temp was a lot more responsive. Fwiw.
