My cats tend to leave it alone anyway. They might have a sniff, but I think they feel the heat coming from it and just know to stay away. I don't have it in the middle of the room or anything though, just setup on my desk in front of the window with the power cord running down the back. The cats...

The 220/110v voltages are referring to the differing supply voltages around the world. You guys have 110v 60Hz, while here in the UK for eg, we have 220v/50Hz. Just be aware that the coils for the Vapecode will not work on the Auber controller (and vice-versa) without being rewired

I've only ever tried a vapecode unit and the Auber 300. To me the Auber seems more stable in temperatures, is easier to read and adjust and coils are easy to find. I'm thinking about picking up a second one when they have another sale

You'll have to let us know how it is :) I can see it's 30cm square sheets, but they don't mention the grade of the paper.
