Your correct @psychonaut if left on it doesn't matter. The only differences I've seen between the vrod and the wraparound is a little more heat up time required.

so the Battery Powered VROD secret is out. With the vrod we are planning on tightening up the clearance between the nut and bowl / heat post. We have been using a .01" clearance and plan on cutting this in half to .005". We will be implementing the necessary plug and ring QC inspection gauges...

that's bad ass. people need to remember the dead air must be removed before vapor production begins. Smaller lungs may have a challenge with this bigger rig. I prefer one that will accept ice cubes for those hot summer days.

The only point i'm trying to make here with video 3 of 3 is that the quality of fit doesn't really matter in my opinion. I'm attempting to demonstrate the worst case scenario. If the parts are allowed to sit still they preform much better. I'm still fully committed to increasing the clearance to...

Screen: The screen in the photo doesn't appear to be the double weave. The screens that come packaged with the bowls are the basic beamer titanium screen (in your photo) If you purchased the double weave screen it will be in it's own package with the material cert. Hempwick: The hempwick has...

Re machining the posts is easier, cheaper and reduces any additional fiddle factor. Yes I will explore adding length on the bottom end of the post for added stability. Can you please try and elaborate on the stability request? If the head is removed straight up it doesn't lift the body...

Ok I'll remove the milled slot and reduce the clearance from .01" to .005" between the post and bowl. It's a simple and easy change. I'll ship out the updated posts to anyone that requests them next week. Please email sales@newvape.com if your interested in receiving one.

Here is the @Chicken #420 report in question. message 1 Edwyn, Thank you for considering my suggestions. Here are some answers to your questions, along with a few new observations. Heaviness is definitely a 2-edged sword, balancing material thickness (and associated quality) with light...

I agree with you. Having the flat shutoff on the top of the joint is critical for this design. The same .01" clearance exists between the bowl and nut on all designs. @steama wins i apologize. This disclaimer was not more clear when he purchased. I've added this disclaimer to the website...

With all due respect that gap is the photo is internal as indicated by the YELLOW arrow in my drawing below. I'm failing to see how that gap effects performance. I will agree that if just those 2 parts are tested by themselves they will most defiantly leak. But that's not how the assembly is...
