Hey guys. Thanks so much for your thoughts. The o-ring I'm talking about is blue, wide, and thin. - pull out the glass tube that holds the CU - unscrew the metal part that fits around the above glass tube - below that sits the large RED o-ring - below that sits the metal cylinder. This blue...

Thanks so much, LabPong. Once this winter storm melts, I'll head to town in search of a star bit. Ive never encountered a star bit before, which is why I was trying to use an allen wrench, which fit in quite snugly. Hopefully I haven't messed up the screw too much. As for the o-ring. It's...

Thanks for the response, Lab pong. I tried, and will try again. But my efforts at repair were terrible. Frankly, I’m not a repair person, and suffer from some gnarly hand issues that make fiddling difficult. At least I ended up w a bonus blue o-ring that I couldn’t get back in. :( Having never...

Perhaps there's something to the idea that calibrations may vary. That's certainly a more friendly pill to swallow vs considering something might be wrong w. mine. Because on my unit, moving below 7 results in virtually zero vapor. Doesn't actually feel like I'm inhaling much either. Again...

Thanks for the great response. Hmmmm... I just tried lowering to 6, and I barely got any vapor at all. Not sure why. I feel the only responsible solution is to try again really really soon.

For you folks who go at lower temps, are you doing so primarily for taste? I'd really love for someone to explain the benefits. I tend to use more like 7.5-9. Standard set-up, just the slightly longer tube. Like a lot of folks, I'm always shooting for the best bang-for-(too-little)buck, the...

Interesting to hear about the Molicel P26A. Nice and cheap too. I'll probably grab some of these. https://www.18650batterystore.com/products/molicel-p26a

Cheers Cheesby. I've definitely been noticing my battery life has been dwindling (after a couple months' use). I suppose that's par for the course w. these things. But so long as the TM keeps heating strong, I'm willing to buy the occasional new battery.

I'm still pretty new to the TM, Squirrelmaster... and to a certain extent: vaping in general. (I had a Dynavap, and sold a 3-month-old Crafty to afford the TM). So you take the nuts / washers out of the CU? And when you say "glass balls between the screens"... could you explain? Forgive the...

Yep... the Vapefiend vid. Those two lovely folks were the ones who turned me onto the TM to begin with, so I can't fault them too much. :) On the other side of the coin though, Troy from Troy&Jerry was the one who first gave me the idea of leaving the rubber bands on. I must admit, I just...

Ha. Perhaps you're right. But it always seems the screen could use a lil scrubbing to get fully clean. And the screen removal was part of the tutorial I watched about cleaning it. But perhaps I should kick the habit.

Thanks Cheesby! I'll def check out the J hook. And no, my cooling unit hasn't moved. But rather the tiny screen portion of the cooling unit is difficult to keep secure. I've removed and replaced it at least a dozen times of course while cleaning, but it's having a harder and harder time...

Hey everybody! I've had my TM for about 3 months now. Mostly dig it. A couple q's. 1. I have been using it essentially as it came. Just loading straight into tube. I use on-demand mode, and usually manage about 2-3 long hits per bowl on about 8 or 9. I've seen some folks say that using a...

Welcome to Fuck Combustion...Tell us about yourself here!

Hey Bifty. Daily Tinymight user here as well. Had mine about three months (though a month+ was spent waiting for a new glass tube after mine rolled off the sink). I mostly dig it! True, I'm perpetually fussing with it, hoping to perfect my process... but it's mostly fun. Two questions for...
