I have had my Vivant Alternate for two days now and the cooling unit is melting in the same place as everyone else's. It has been used 5 times. When are we going to be able to buy the new cooling units that are made with the safer material?

Return it now and buy it again when they have fixed the issues if you are concerned. That's exactly what I thought too.

The Vivant Alternate seems to have completely disappeared from DHgate. Heaven_Gifts don't have stock anymore either.

They're the cheap adapters that Vapefiend resells. Some people have cracked their casings completely off their units from using these. Be really careful when using this adapter.

I wouldn't use it. The first lot of chargers had a known fault where the cable would break. Bickel and Storz replaced the charger with a new smaller one that doesn't break. You could have had it replaced under warranty.

Great work with the FLIR pics. I have never seen this done before. The FLIR would be good to show how the unit cools down faster when the cooling unit is removed as opposed to leaving it on after use.
