I don't get five or six star full melts 'round here but when I super-charge flower ELBs with hash, kief, or BHO it's a fun time. I also prefer this over the VXNs at times. I often end up using more concentrate than necessary and taking a nap.
Thanks for the help.
From earlier in this thread it looks like 625-650 was the range of temps people were using for the SiC inserts. Is that still the case, more or less?
I also pulled the trigger on the Liger V2.0. Sky blue 20mm with SiC insert with the Master Storm Cell kit. It's going to go in an Ion II Matrix. I always seem to splurge at the beginning of the summer.
A good cure is so important. I have a pretty good variety of dispensaries to choose from despite being in a county and city that tend to be part of the Conservative part of CA that you don't hear about so often but finally settled on only one due primarily to the care taken in growing to full...
Vaporbrothers VB2.0 Multi-Converter for dabbing.
$250 via PayPal, shipped (Continental US only, please) with the following included:
- VB 2.0 unit with attached cord
- Ceramic dome (comes with silicone nozzle for tubing which isn't pictured - sorry!)
- Glass dome with tapered output...
I've been looking at the Liger recently and reading up but I'm a little confused by the Storm Cell cap/dabber and accessories. There is a Traditional Set and a Master Set available. Since there are no pics I am trying to deduce the differences between the two. Do you need the Master Set to have...
I prefer a bit of a finer grind than average for optimal vapor extraction. I use a Sharpstone (pretty similar to the SCS grinder as far as the pattern of the teeth) and grind on its side several twists each way. It's not something that'll make or break the EVO's output, but a little finer is...
I dug these pics so hard I just ordered one. It'll be a concentrate rig for me as well. I can't wait for it to arrive. Several pieces appealed to me including the Micro II, Scope, and Ion. Love Mobius stuff.
Hot water after an iso soak should be just fine to clean the ELBs IME. The heated alcohol probably would achieve similar results, I'm guessing. I usually end up soaking mine overnight but it can be an hour or two easily. Then a hot water rinse has them like new.
Those little test-tube brushes...
Looks like you've got a solid cleaning regimen but thought I'd chime in. I use 91% iso for a daily shake followed by hot distilled water. I'm pretty snobby about flavor so I never let it get very dirty. Takes about five minutes. For ELBs and VXNails, they get soaked in little jars of Iso then...
I got the HydraHoneycomb HT with my EVO originally and like it and all the diffusion it provides, but it's fairly restrictive when it comes to airflow. I tend to like this when it comes to EVO dabs so I still use it for that. In contrast, the Symbiartic Chandelier has become my daily driver for...
I have to disagree to some degree regarding the velcro strap on the neoprene cover. If you connect the velcro straps it can hamper airflow and possibly contribute to combustion. The cover can be used effectively without the velcro strap (with some small amount of sliding around) but I just got...
I start at noon, bump up to 1:00 after two rips or so and finish at 2:00 with a finger-flick in between to shake up the goods for a nice, consistently dark AVB that resembles coffee grounds. I tend to grind a bit finer than many do, I think. I used to finish at 3:00 but I achieved combustion...
Comparable prices here http://www.highfivevape.com/ and here http://www.theterpz.com/
I'm sure others have suggestions that will be even cheaper through DHGate.
I have only found disadvantages to trying to vape nugs rather than grinding and I now stay between noon and 2:00 to avoid combustion. It happened to me twice at 3:00 and I have found that it was pretty unnecessary to go that high after testing 2:00. I still get a full extraction.
The volume of the can on the Symbiartic Chandelier is probably roughly equal to that of the other VXH HTs. While the Symbiartic is a couple inches taller it is also much more slender. I think it appears a bit bulkier than it is in real life in close-up pics and videos. I don't have a HydraBomb...
