@divinetribe instead of screws for the outer housing, do u think it's possible to replace that with magnets. That would be sweet for cleaning. Just pop em on n off

I'm not too interested in the crucibles but do you have any heaters that are in a shape of a cup or bowl of some sort. I feel that that would be the most efficient design in a "nail". The cup or bowl can go into the existing cup design. The donuts have proven to be great, but I feel a bowl or...

It seems many characteristics are exaggerated with the v3 from the v2.5. This time I'm talking about effects after cleaning. When fully cleaned the donut will need a few bowls before it will put out massive amounts of vapor. The v3 needs a bit more priming than the v2.5. The collected reclaim...

So idk about everyone else but I've done a full complete breakdown cleaning twice already. Honestly I have different heat setting for cleaning compared to many. On the 2.5 base I used 10.5-11w for cleaning. For the v3 I do a complete disassemble and soak everything in alcohol. While soaked in...

@Haywood[/USER] that's a funny coincidence. I guess good minds think alike. I've done the barely glow test for years trying to figure out my preferred settings. I also came to your conclusions and numbers about 20w being the wattage where the donut barely starts to glow. Ever since mods came...

I think it's a proportion thing about wattage. Since u like 25w on the 2.5, I'm assuming ur gonna want a much higher wattage. What I did was put in a 2.5 base in wattage mode and looked at the voltage reading at my desired wattage. Then I switch to the v3 and set the wattage until it matches the...

So I also just got my v3. First impressions are great. Truly an updated and upgraded from the previous model. The donut on this thing is huge. I found my self packing hits and hits and hits just to experiment. So I kept my tcr value of 245. I'm using 25 w set at 350F. I used to use tcr 245...

@fernand Im actually not interested in the crucibles. I'm just curious about the airflow situation in general but it's no biggie. I'm gonna find out in a few days when they come in. I'm going to look forward to being able to break it down and give it a proper cleaning. It's crazy how long these...

Yeeeoowza. What news. At first I was a bit bummed that I just got 2 more back up bases but this release with the discount is so overwhelmingly pleasant that I'm just filled with excitement waiting for the v3 to be in my hands. My only question would be are the air holes coming from above the...

No I'm not sure on that and I very may be wrong. It's what I was told on this forum when I asked. It was quite a while ago and I don't remember the details. All I know is I keep it at tcr 245 with most dt attys and I get billows of vapor. Anyone with a decent draw technique is always amazed at...

It's also important to note what wattage are you using with the tcr and temp. It's true that there are some attys that just don't follow the usual formula of settings. If your oil is just sitting there, try lowering the tcr to maybe 245. The lower the tcr, the hotter the donut runs. Also, try to...

Those dish type of heaters are nothing new and I can back up Fernand on it not being a leaked v3. I think the closest thing to a leaked v3 is the new atmos kiln others have mentioned. The dish type heaters were talked about on this forum months ago. From what I remember, they were of lower...

I guess I'm just going to be ignored and source vapes basically publicly gave an empty promise. I am regretting I put faith in them and pre ordered a product

It's pretty cool what u came up with. But source vapes kinda beat u to the punch on this one. U basically turned your dt atty into source vape's portable enail. Their enail atomizers are basically a dt donut under a ceramic cup, titanium cup, or a quartz cup.

@SOURCEvapes I am a pre-order owner of the source nail. I was told I would get a gift card to upgrade the bubbler once the new line of bubblers are out. It's been a few months and i haven't heard anything. Did I miss out or is this still in the progress

I got a useful tip to pass around. It's should be known that the locked resistance in tc or tcr modes need to match the resistance reading in vw mode exactly for best performance. However, once the atomizer is removed, many mods will store the locked resistance even though it is not the actual...
