Yea I had a slight combustion event when I first got it. I wasn't sure because it tasted like popcorn but I charred the hell out of it at the very least. I think it being so air deprived keeps it from fully combusting even though those temps were obviously reached.

The og and fat mp are supposed to be the same. There could be a tolerance issue between mp's but I had posted about this earlier. It could be your problem. The og mp mates with the tapered end of an ISO (14/23mm) female joint. If you have glass with the shorter US joint (14/20) the tapers ID is...

@fågel yea I plan to give a few out as Christmas gifts this year :spliff: Also, I haven't seen it mentioned before but I may have missed it. The VC only fits full length 14mm female ISO joints, and not the shorter US size. I have a 14mm j-hook that it won't seal with and falls right through...

I believe the OG VC is the device that will make quite a few of my friends finally say "FUCK COMBUSTION!" They like my other vapes also, but the VC is efficient, effective, and most importantly, CHEAP! My friends are a frugal bunch, so unsurprisingly they perked up when they found out they could...

    Underdog Log Vapes

@underdog ah for some reason I didn't think about expansion and contraction. Seems the same problem would present itself with glass too, no? What if the woods ID was slightly larger so you could use o-rings as a spacer to lock the wood in place? Kind of like the vapcap. Of course, if it's not...

Thanks man! Its been as fun admiring it's looks as its been to use it :) And thanks for the advice. I believe I'm about to pull the trigger on the lab style unit

    Underdog Log Vapes

@underdog thanks! I didn't want to turn it too high but I'll crank it up a bit and see what happens :) I'll probably just go with the lab style. I'm looking for what's most reliable and consistent. And I'm not sure thats what @6079Smith is talking about but wood sleeves for the ss lite stems...

The tattoo style unit? That could be good. I like the lab style one but it looks a bit bulky and I need something that takes up as little space as possible. I'm not too crazy about those flames either. The VK looks awesome BUT... if i thought I could get one I totally would.

We needed no introductions. This pup was born to obey my every command. It feels good to be part of the pack:love: I've been having a little too much fun with my new pup these last few days and forgot to get some more pics haha. I'm loving the metal stems, as well. The ss lite and ti taper are...

The dimmer is working pretty well for me. The screen stays fairly steady at 10v or higher. It can jump about .1 in either direction and fluctuates more below 10 (I assume because it measures 2 places passed the decimal) but still stays within .1 of the correct voltage. I questioned whether it...

You can do all that with the LED dimmer, it just jumps around a little bit. Are you sure that's not what you're referring to? The VVPS's aren't currently available on the UD site I had my pup tuned on the hot side so I'm enjoying my glass stems at 10.5 to 11 and metal stems I use at 9.5 to 10...

    Dynavap VapCap

Another @Squiby will probably come along and give a better explanation but I always refer back to this pic to help clear things up All the wood body's have the Ti tip. The difference is in body length. There's two ss condensers, the standard and the xl. The s models have a short body (45mm i...

@NickDlow hmmm... now you've got me thinking I need to scoop a vvps myself

    Underdog Log Vapes

@damm I'm pretty sure the voltage isn't actually jumping around that much. The LED just struggles a bit to get an accurate readout. I've seen a bit of jumping on mine, but nothing that extreme. It's not perfect but it beats flying in the dark with zero markings, imo. I suppose if you're...

easiest vape for an older person?

I agree for portables you're best looking at Solo/Air with a wood stem or one of the boundless models. For desktop I would recommend an Herbalaire. Its an extremely durable vape. It's the only vape I have that I don't grind for. It cooks evenly and thoroughly with no stirring either. It's not my...

I'll get some close ups later, but pics really can't show all the color and character of the wood :mmmm: Dave hit it out of the park, as usual! Time to break this bad boy in :smug:

The Nong is a good unbreakable option to have. They're best for concentrates or ultra micro doses. If you plan on using it with herb I would suggest getting a dimmer though. The main difference between the standard and air core is heat up time and heat retention. The standard will take a bit...

    The Arizer Air

I really enjoy the Joda GonG I got but I have to agree. I get bigger and denser hits with the plastic tip. I wasn't crazy about the results I was getting through water, but I decided to give the plastic tip a try (based on your recommendation ) and that totally changed my tune.

I snagged one of those new dimmers with the led screen so that should help me get this pup trained once it arrives. It couldn't be coming at a better time either, because I'm about to have to send my lsv in for repair
