How do you see wisps of Vapor before you load anything?

I was not preheating but that should only matter for the first couple hits. By my fourth hit I had thicker clouds with oil but not quite what I get with flower. Getting the technique down for this is a bit tricky. I'm going to try the pad again but preheat and pour my oil on.

I tried but got nothing but wispy vapor. Once I perfect my pouring technique I will give it a try again. I am trying an experiment now that will take a few days... stay tuned :)

For people asking about dabs I had really good luck with loading hemp fiber (cotton should work too) into the bowl and literally pouring a glob of oil on top trying to spread it evenly around. I used herbie fan assist to warm up the container the oil was in to make it more viscous and easier...

I would choose the Herbie over the EVO as well. I've been spoiled by the heat up time of the Herbie. I tend to want to vape every hour or every hour and a half so I want to turn off my EVO. My EVO takes at least 5 minutes with temp on max to get to decent cloud production that my Herbie gets...

How hard is this to clean and drain the water out?

I think the EVO is more of what you want. You will be happy with the herbie but does require some simple mods to use with glass. Exactly! My thickest and cloudiest hits are from the first few off a reclaim hemp fiber.

My piece broke over you weekend but I did not like it much anyways due to chuggy pull.

This is my new setup as of today to use my whip and have a hemp fiber filter to collect the majority of the honey. This makes using reclaim super easy and should keep my whip much cleaner.

How hard is that to clean? That is my primary concern with pieces like this is that the process just to empty the water takes forever. Are the holes big enough to properly drain or do you have to keep rotating the sucker around to different angles to eventually empty it. I love the FC-186...

You are getting just as medicated with smaller clouds because the Herbalizer is such a good convection vape without too much conduction. I have found though that if I load up a fluffy bowl of herb and then gently press down to compact it some that I get thicker clouds with the herbalizer than if...

My EVO won't fit the FC-186 either unless I use an adapter. However I love hitting this piece. It purrs and does not chug. I would be disappointed too. You really only have one slit firing. Does it vortex well if you pull with no restriction? Mine is a bit better and with one final hard...

I find with my Herbalizer I have to pull hard to see any vortex. This won't be my daily driver for sure.
