That’s just the temp dial it can sit loose and put back together but put on and turn it to the right all the way and you will it’s at zero. @Marlox is right may be a little fiddling but once bottom is in right position it should hold temp dial in place if that makes sense!

I’m losing my flavor with the taffe Bowle pots ; I think due to retention of heat in ceramic pots usually just thin glass in there. Went down in temps but just not as flavorful thoughts? edit: think it’s because of heat retention due to back to back pots?
