Yeah, could be rationalizing the decision to wait and I've only seen the pictures of the previous vong generations but I feel like this current one is the prettiest.

I've used my Jr. for a quick vape outside the bar in the winter (I'm paranoid about battery vapes in the extreme cold and Maine is pretty weed friendly) and I really like it. All the cold air makes for super-cool vapor and seems like it makes it harder to scorch.

That's how I read it at first too but it looks like the body of the vape actually expands and retracts around the stem rather then the stem collapsing into the body. (Ed.: and I just realized you meant shorter exposed glass / inserted deeper into the body :doh:)

Take the tip and smaller x-ring off, seat the condenser just using the larger x-ring, insert the small x-ring from the tip end and adjust with a toothpick or something (several of my stir tools are nice for this).

You can buy the Ti Tip by itself. That's quite a bit cheaper than an M + a vong and you get to keep the spare cap and S/S tip. The S/S condenser and the Ti tips get along fine – there was no Ti condenser initially. It's the S/S tips and the Omni condenser specifically that don't get along.
