I just got some fairly recently and I like them. I think they restrict the draw a tiny bit sort of like a slightly resined up screen which makes getting hits on a fresh screen easier. Haven't used them enough to say how much they help keep things clean but I would expect it to be pretty...

I think we're suffering from the spotlight effect. Realistically most people aren't going to even notice what you're doing at all, especially if you're coördinated enough to heat and walk at the same time.

Yeah. The 'lost dogs' have some cracks/imperfections. Those, I think, aren't actually cracked yet but PH logs are very likely to crack so they're listed as lost dogs anyway (my PH goblet from that same batch has developed some barely visible cracks around the core, no instability or performance...
