It's a pretty small amount of wood in the vapor path but it is there. Having used both, definitely nice having the body and caps :tup:

This looks like it fixes all my doubts about picking up an OG (expect I would prefer the angled intake, little chunky, not always a fan of the bigger mp). I've almost pulled the trigger on a Canary OG a few times so I think I'm sold. :tup:

Yeah if you want the plain wood just order a custom and select "plain" for the color choice.

Stems? GonG is probably fine at 12V, NonG could combust. Going higher than 12V is only really useful for concentrates or a quick warmup, imo (and don't leave it cranked up obviously) Even then I vape concentrate at like 11.5V a lot in the NonG on fiber.

Depends on the stems, generally less is more as long as you've covered the screen. Screen distance you can tweak for preference. If it's a reasonably new dog tight packing at 12V may hit combustion temps. 10.5 - 11.5V is my usual range.

If you do that test try running a test while limiting the power output on the Dual to 70W like on the OG as well.

I could tell he's excited about getting some in-house anodized Ti midsections going as well. Releasing an XL Omni with the plainer geometry would be a good opportunity to do some funky anodized patterns on some of them.

This page has the extended manual: http://tubo.lamart.ch/#manual Sounds like you need to check the TCR setting (‘menu>coils>manage>TCR’) and make sure it matches to one inside the battery door.

Can confirm. It's really hard to see in pictures but the taper for the faux mp is definitely just a bit more subtle. For me, it's a significant improvement.

Is that one of the old Econo-dogs? Those used a different sized connector and power-supply (too strong for the new dogs)
