    Micro-dosing

@snaffle I agree with @steama about the spoons. I can guess pretty close at .05gm, .07gm, .10gm, .14gm, and .25gm based on spoon size and whether full, rounded, or heaped. I would say within 10% give or take. I have a .001gm scale but don't use it often now. Good luck.

    Discontinued MistVape Touch

Sorry @mistvaporizer. I bought a couple colored stems from you that work great. I didn't know you lost the sourcing on those.

    ABV toast.

Yes the toast is great but a toasted waffle is even better because it has all the little depressions that can be filled with peanut butter-ABV mix. I loved your tip in the Solo 2 thread about using a cup of hot cocoa to recover resin build up in the stem.

    Arizer Solo II

@CarolKing thanks for this simple method to recover resin. Just what I needed and a plus for Solo 2. @sickmanfraud thanks for the suggestion; but you lost me at tincture. :myday:

    ABV toast.

I mix 1 tablespoon of smooth peanut butter with .25 gram of ABV. I use a small dessert dish to mix. I then do one of two things. 1. Mix it into a smoothie or 2. Spread it onto a toasted waffle I don't get any gritty taste except when licking the spoon clean and that's not too bad then. .25...

    Discontinued MistVape Touch

@mistvaporizer I think the stems you have now fill the bill just fine. Why would I want one of these?

@CarolKing I am using my ABV for smoothies or just in peanut butter spread on toast or waffles. How do you retrieve the oil from the stem? Do you just soak it in hot water and then add cocoa? I need to stop cleaning my stems.

Do you like where you live?

I'm in North Texas so no hurricane here. My only complaint is no legal flowers.

Advice on upgrade from Solo. Lots of small complaints, not sure which direction to go in

@nsjaqson my advice is get a Solo 2 and several stems of your preferred length. 1. Solo 2 heats much faster and battery lasts longer. 2. Load several stems at a time and store them in tubes with rubber stoppers. 3. No need to remove filter to clean stem. No need to clean stem often. Easy to...

@CarolKing yes I also save my ABV for smoothies too. What temperatures would you use to vape the Cotton/resin?

    Arizer Solo II

@DocH Thanks for the tips. I've filled the stem (with flat screen) anywhere from 20% to 80% but always finished in one session from 15-35 minutes. The Solo 2 came with two sleeves and two sets of rubber plugs. I can just wait for it to cool and seal the whole stem. You have just expanded my...

    Crafty/Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel

If you are a light "user" and use "on the go", then the crafty makes sense. Is you use mostly at home, then the Solo 2 is better in many respects.

Yes there are only two. I use coarse screens only and vape 1/2 bowl with the liquid pad over the leaf. I usually divide the 1/2 bowl (approx. .14 gram) into two sessions. No capsules for me.

    Crafty or Solo II

If you would need it only for the two weeks the Crafty loan would be ideal. Just charge it after a few sessions when the blue light blinks fast on shut down. Set up your two temperatures (base and boost) and use the light to decide when there is a need to recharge. For ongoing use the Solo 2...

    Crafty or Solo II

I also own an MVT and it is full convection which does have advantages. But the MVT is not regulated so you can't set a temperature and just draw when you want to. With enough practice and a will to learn you can get it to perform very well. You always have to deal with drawing technique and an...

    Crafty or Solo II

These two are my go to vapes. The Crafty is more discrete since it will fit in a cargo pants pocket. Both Crafty and Solo 2 are very easy to use and keep clean with just a little discipline. When clean neither smells that much. Solo 2 is more solid and has better battery life and should be more...

    ABV Milkshake (My First Post)

edited: @bakednvaped my dose of 1/2 teaspoon is lees then 20% of the amount you used. I am a lower temperature vaporist with a maximum of 185c/365f. So it stands to reason that there will be more goodies left in my ABV. I use any smoothie recipe that has a tablespoon of peanut or almond...

    Arizer Solo II

It is still a good question. Where can we get blue stems for those of us who have a blue Solo 2? I am not sure where to get OEM stems for my Solo 2 except from Arizer directly.
