Thanks!, but are you talking about the GH or the FW? @XiolaOne , if I have nhale any slower on even Temp 3, I'll pass out by the time I finish the draw! :ugh:

Gentlemen, I've selected you all for a special reason... lol... OK, no, but since you're here.... I've had the FW4 for a while now, and I love it - as I've said several times on this and other subs... I'm hoping to get some understanding about the Temps... It seems the routine for me is to...

These could have been my words verbatim. You're not alone, Voodoo. These 30 draws, are they like 15-20 second draws? That's an amazing number of (full?) chambers on a single charge. I think I can get 1.5-2 if I'm lucky (including using a "freshly charged" battery as opposed to one that was...

Hey guys... my interest is piqued... I've had the FW4 for about 3 months. Love it; it hasn't changed in its performance one bit and is very consistent. But just so I understand... I have used it by starting at Temp-3, get nice smooth clouds, perhaps 2-3 full pull's worth. Then I go to Temp...

My Raw Ti has been performing as you describe yours... for a LONG time... It's been stellar in performance, consistently delivering strong milky clouds. I haven't been thinking it will be taking a crap soon - I hope not, cuz my grey Ti works at about 60% of the Raw's. So I'm not giving odds...

Sorry that happened... If the kind of force needed to pull it out of that sleeve by the clicker would somehow cause a failure, I dare to hope it was a defect in the first place!

Well then I look forward to being able to compare when I get mine. When WILL I get mine? It's only been 19 months.

Interesting to hear that... I have had two of them for months and use them constantly... they've "loosened up" just a little, but, for example, if I take the sleeve and hold it upside down by pinching the bottom end, the Hopper will not come out even with shaking. IMO, I don't feel that...

Is this the one you got? I love mine! It is snug, but not so that a finger pull on the clicker won't slide it out. https://www.amazon.com/Aston-Leather-Single-Holder-Black/dp/B006OF2H2Y/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1489171773&sr=8-2&keywords=leather+pen+sleeve

"All the guts" consist of a heater module (including the circuit board against which the battery rests), and the metal shank which protrudes from the body's front portion. I don't believe that the "assembled" body would take more than a matter of minutes to disassemble with the proper special...

Agree with you there, Bio ... And what's more, it's my suspicion that these HTs are recycled Ti's, and the "heat treatment" removes all vestiges of it's prior defective life. I could be wrong, but in today's world, truth doesn't count for much anyway.

Agreed, @Mr Mellish ... I'll take the Hopper out on the road (which I haven't had reason to lately), and I would normally do a Blue Tac thread clean every other time I replace the battery, and a weekly Hopper MP and FW capsule soak. I have no complaints at all, though one of my two Ti's seems...

I'm only chiming in to say that I believe the FW4 is so far better in maintenance than the Hopper that I've been using that more than the Hopper lately. NOTHING but the tiny capsule and CU stem to clean. Period.

 I have felt that "nudge" from The Defenders as I've read the discussions here lately. Personally, I think they are better off staying quiet and crash the next GHL meeting with a print-out of our shit here! Then I will beg them to cheer and even brag because I'll be right there with 'em...

Yes, I feel the same way... I had imagined a thing that looks like a battery but the negative end looks like a battery-with-a-backend-attached: the clicker is even part of this "battery-assembly". But in actuality, the "battery" is really just a cylindrical transition to meet the internal...

Holy cow, Bio, four RMA's? Jeezus! You'd think two would cover the instance of a failing hopper. Really sorry about your Hopper woes, man. @moondog what an interesting post! My first reaction is, WTF?! So now the smooth backends are not to be envied by those still working with stiff dials...
