    I pack as much as I can fit. Works like a charm if you're lighter technique is right. I use a dry material, with wooden or acrylic grinder.

    The only drawback for me is all the butane I'm using 2 (1.48oz) cans so far, @ 1.99 a can more expensive than charging a battery. But for 9.99 I got the big can now.

    I'm just guessing but I'm assuming the metals used slightly change when heated and a free floating metal piece in the tip is able to fit into a gap as the metal is heated, once it cools the metal piece no longer fits perfectly in the gap and clicks as it moves places.
