How will that be to clean, as compared to the current version that can be disassembled?

For me, the buzz is a bit annoying but it isn't loud. What I find much too loud is the vibration. It would be nice if the app were updated to allow you to modify the intensity.

I have some somewhere but I haven't bothered because, to be fair, the fine grind has been as good as anything else. Honestly, I haven't found a grind (or non-grind) that the MV1 can't tolerate.

I have to hide my material in a rather warm place. With the winter heating, it has gotten quite dry and I'm ending up with a pretty fine grind. Works "fine." :brow: Is that really a pale ale? Certainly looks like a NE IPA.

Hi, @Summer I got the alert that you mentioned me in a post. It’s unfortunate that the Android crowd has had a very different experience (from mine, anyway). I honestly think I would have begged a friend with an iPhone to briefly install the Ghost app just so I could get the firmware update...

I have a semi-strict regimen of cleaning once/week. Seems to work out fine and the taste doesn’t degrade much.

Since I’m in CA, I’ve finally been able to get my hands on some shatter to try out in the MV1. For the way I use it, it seems to work as well as my Hercules, but with less risk of burning the goods and much easier clean-up.

Agreed on the GH points and the FW4. I love the FW4 but give the FW3 the edge.

Help! Visiting California Today -- Where are there walk-ins?

Sorry, too late to avoid double posting. Medmen worked out great. Didn’t have the flower selection I’ve seen in Seattle but it was well stocked and the help was quite good. They take cash or credit and aren’t more than 2-3 miles from the LAX car rental facility. They explained that the...

Help! Visiting California Today -- Where are there walk-ins?

So, I'm flying to CA later today and will be driving up from LA to Santa Barbara. I'm used to flying into Seattle and easily locating a dispensary where I can stop in and pick something up. I'm searching and can only find medical dispensaries or places that deliver (next day). Is there an...

The firmware updates resolve many of your issues. But, as you say, without the app you can't update the firmware. When I got a replacement unit, it needed the firmware update as well. Personally, I'd look for a friend with an iPhone first. If you can update the firmware, you might find that you...

Any serious beer drinkers in forum?

I did get a couple bottles. I like it better than KBS, which is very popular. Actually, I might like it more than Goose Island’s Bourbon County.

I take relaxed, 10 second draws (couldn’t clear it in 1-2 hits if I wanted to). 3-4 draws at A1, 3-4 at A2, 4-6 at A3. Three sessions takes me solidly into 2 lights and it gets a little erratic at that point. So, 30-40 draws? I’m continuing to love this thing. My Crafty must have a nice layer...

That's my experience as well. I've travelled with vapes before and not had an issue. However, leaving a legal state, I think they are a bit more careful checking for contraband...

I was planning on it being my choice for a flight to California as well (with, perhaps, the Firewood 4 as an accomplice). Both have removable batteries and crucibles/capsules can be nicely cleaned with ISO. Guess I hadn't given the silicone much thought.
