Heat Island, hands down

I use a hydratube as well, or a PNWT sometimes. I agree about how thoroughly the HA extracts cannabinoids. I save up the herb pellet ABV from my logs and Vapolution 2.0 (another underrated vape) and drop them into my HA, and I can always get some substantial rips.

I took a flyer on a used Vapolution 2.0 and I've been very impressed with the flavor.

plugins > portables

the EQ never blew me away, even modified. The UD bowl is smaller, so in that way it can be more efficient. But it depends on how many bowls you fill. I have an UD and an HI and I find the HI runs a bit hotter. Using a VVPS gives me more precise control over temps.

portables aren't the best solution for that sort of use

I think the cord is a weak point in an otherwise very sturdy vape. Mine frayed internally from being coiled and I had to replace it

after intensive research I've concluded that the flavor is better without water, in general. Some very good vapes do perform better with a bubbler or hydratube, though.

With both the standard and the ground glass, the focus of the heat seems to be in the middle of the bowl, which is why stirring is usually required. the design of the spherical allows you to rotate the wand so that the heat can be distributed more evenly without stirring.

I'll disagree with you about the Vapolution's extraction capability. It probably extracts cannabinoids as well as any vaporizer I've tried. I think if you intend to play in that ballpark, you owe it to yourself to check out the competition.

well, the Vapolution doesn't require whips or hoses, either, and you can follow the vapor from the all glass heating chamber through the glass stem. moreover, it works best with unground herb.

how is it functionally better than the Vapolution?
