I don't grind at all. I just break off a small amount of bud, just enough to cover the screen.

I use 3mm quartz balls in one SSV and the tube in another, and it seems to me that they’re about the same. That price seems high. Plus, you don’t need 200 balls

no need for a VVPS, the nano has a dimmer. I like the eNano cooling stem and a glass JHook for dry hits. I’ve tried multiple WPAs, including inverting on a bubbler and hydro tubes. My current favorite is a Pinnacle water tube. Just a very small amount will deliver a couple potent hits. It’s 14mm.

When that happens to me, I find that the culprit is usually a dirty screen inhibiting air flow.

you can get a knockoff Pinacle Water Tube on DHgate. I've had pretty good luck with it. it's 14mm female, though https://www.dhgate.com/product/pinnacle-pro-glass-smoking-water-pipe-vaporblunt/184494946.html#seo=WAP

I agree. I have a couple SSVs and a DBV and I like using the SSVs better

There's not a whole lot of functional difference between the DaBuddha and the Silver Surfer.

It's because of the design of log vapes vs portables like the Solo. Log vapes consist of a stainless steel tubes, heated by house current, that slide sinside a glass stem and sits virtually on top of the herb. Portables like the Solo are powered by batteries and have a glass stem that slides...

which glass beads did you get and how did you plug the input hole so that the beads wouldn't escape from the heater cover?

Your ceramic rod looks fine. I had a situation with a standard SSV heater cover (2 actually) where the input hole seemed to have been drilled too low and I couldn’t generate enough hot air to get a good rip. I’ve never had that problem with either the ground glass or spherical setups. I wonder...

I've been using a box mod with a DC version4 quartz atomizer https://ineedhemp.com/product/divine-crossing-version-4-crucible-cup-rebuildable-concentrate-atomizer/

I was thinking that, too, but it might be tricky manipulating the retaining clips or the shims that hold the heater cover if it's in an inverted position.

I think you can pull it off with the glass on glass heater cover combo, but you'd probably have to load the standard heater cover first, before you mount it. How much of a hassle was it with your LSV and was the performance upgrade worth it?

I was thinking that, too. Troy was using the spherical setup, which has the largest opening and would be the easiest to fill. It would be trickier with the other 2 setups.
