Same here. I added a second hand ssv as well so I can alternate between the spherical and standard setups, and I use the ground glass wand with the DBV. I probably use the standard the most. Definitely an essential appliance, though my spouse disagrees that it belongs in the kitchen.

I wrap a pot holder around it and attach zip ties at both ends, leaving the dial accessible. That way i can comfortably hold it at high temps and it doesnt roll around.

Is your herb properly dried and cured? If not, you might not get the best vaporizer experience.

Good question. Im sure the technology is available to sort out the genetics. Leafly is good if you know a name, and has lots if pictures you can peruse. Why dont you post a pic. Someone might recognize it

I actually enjoy using the SSV with full melts. I use the Vapor Brothers hands free wand and a Crafty oil pad with the standard heater cover. Works like a charm. The oil stays in the pad so gunk doesn't go anywhere. Most important, the SSV provides plenty of heat to melt the concentrate...

I don't actually use the mod per se. I use an 18mm F/F, a Silver Surfer wand, and Silver Surfer tubing. More or less what's in the mod

Out of the box, the EQ is rather mediocre, but the dDave mod improves efficiency and potency exponentially. For about $60 US, its a game changer. Check the EQ thread.
