The new pearl is WAY better imo. Not only is it much more functional for reducing bowl size, its also easier to twist in and out (since its an oval vs round) and they also give you an extra post and gasket for replacing if you do somehow damage your first one. I don't think anyone will need...

@biohacker I have a very old Solo so I can't speak for anything purchased in the last 3 or 4 years, but my Solo 2 has less draw resistance. It's hard to put a value on the difference, but maybe a third or fourth less draw resistance.

@biohacker when I tested it earlier, the oven started at 80 degrees, and went to 400 in 19 seconds. The ambient temp was around 68, so the unit still had a minor amount of residual heat left from the previous session. I will let it fully cool down and re-test Edit: still ~20 seconds to 400F...

I believe current USB maxes out at 5 volt and 2 amp, and then USB-C will max out at 20 volt and 5 amp so I think that allows it to draw a max of 100 watts compared to the current USB maxing at 10 watts. I will also be curious to see how the USB-C fast charging affects battery life and also...

I got to try this thing with concentrates and it is supposed to also work with dry herbs so that could be very interesting. The Haze Square is on demand convection, and the coil setup physically looks sort of similar to the FF2 so I am excited for that one, especially at the low price.

@toked23 When you are connected to the app, flip through the temps until you get to the blue colored petals, this should leave the oven un-heated.
